During a portrait session, I often shoot hundreds of photos. My goal is to help my subject relax and feel comfortable as the shutter clicks. We might chat together, explore new locations, and share an occasional peek at the raw photos.
After the photo shoot, comes more creative work! All the photos are reviewed, and the best are selected for digital developing. Those that best suit the purpose of the photos are chosen, of course -- but I also look for any that have something different, one of those rare moments when the camera captures the subject's true spirit. These are the images that inspire an artist's imagination, that will, hopefully, become your favorites, too.
